AUBURN, Ala.- The Auburn City Council is accepting applications to fill three vacancies on the Board of Zoning Adjustment. The terms will begin on Jan. 21 and end on Jan. 20, 2029.

The Board of Zoning Adjustment hears and decides cases that are exceptions to the City of Auburn's current zoning regulations. The board consists of five members and two supernumerary positions who each serve three-year terms. Members must be residents of the City of Auburn and must be qualified electors of Auburn. The board meets the first Wednesday of every month at 4:30 p.m.

Those interested in serving are invited to apply online using the link at auburnal.gov/boards. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Dec. 29. The City Council will make an appointment at its Jan. 6 meeting.
